The film has got all the contents for a SUPER HIT , but lacks the GRIPPING SCRIPT. Even though said to be inspired from real Kandahaar Hijack story , its  inaccurate (ok i agree thats filmmakers freedom). Even the Indian Airlines depicted is  one which has undergone NEW BRANDING & LOGO change. Bachan was also not so impressive.Cinematography is good , except the miniature climax shots , which looked pathetic.Anyways its great to see Amithabh in Malayalam film . WE EXPECT  BETTER FILMS FROM  DIRECTOR MAJOR RAVI .

A movie which was intended for kids , but unfortunately didn't appeal both the kids and the mass audience.The technicians did gave their average output.Especially the double role sequences ,music and art direction were notable. But the script and Mammookka's acting (as bhootham) is too difficult to digest.Suraaj gave us a little relief.

The RR is great , the visuals are astonishing , the performances are well, BUT LACKS IN CONTENT.

The Team forget that apart from al these Stylising elements , CONTENT is the King.
In short SAJ is a palace without KING .

The Film is technically good. The cinematography is nice. But Script wise the ressemblance to "Chinthamani Kola Case " makes it a lil cliche. Also the story is not well conveyed . The noticeable improvement in the work of cinematographer Shaji is appreciated . Also the Directorial touch of Mr. Shaji Kailas is well established. The Mannerisms of Mohanlal is also liked by his fans. But flows and repetition of story thread made this movie a lil dull. The ART is also good in this movie , especially in the first song...
I give 6.0/10 marks for this movie.

PARUNTHU

The story of Paruthu is by T.A. Razak and direction is by Padmakumar. The film was expected to be a competitor to the already released Mohanlal starring film "Maadambi"
Parunthu has got a straight narration type story without any interesting twists in the plot.

It was a much awaited film , it was thought to be like classmates ,BUT............
I personally feel that the first half of the movie is irritational. The story doesnt move forward inthe first half. all the scenes in first half , that is the character intro could have been more crispier...
the second half has got something to feel satisfied , but average...

Jayaraj's new film ... Of the people is lacking EMOTIONAT attachement by the audience.
Its cinematography is above average (shot in 16mm by Tanu Balak )
poor scripting and very bad actors (ony relief is the hero Arun ) made this film boring
